Temperature Forecast: A Bumpy Ride
The Meteorological Department predicts that maximum temperatures will remain at alarming levels for the next 2-3 days. However, relief may arrive as early as May 29 when a gradual decrease in temperature is expected to ease the pressure.
Meanwhile, Eastern parts of India such as Assam, Meghalaya, and Northeast states like Nagaland are gearing up for heavy rain. Storms, lightning, and strong winds will be prevalent between May 28 and June 2, particularly in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, and Tripura.
