BJP national president Nitin Nabin has issued a stern challenge to the ruling government in Telangana, predicting that the political outcome seen in West Bengal will be mirrored in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections scheduled for 2028. Speaking at a meeting with booth-level party leaders in Greater Hyderabad, he sharply criticized the Congress administration for allegedly failing to implement their promised 'Six Guarantees' and continuing the legacy of mismanagement.
Infrastructure and Development Claims
During his address at the Exhibition Grounds, Nitin Nabin highlighted various infrastructure projects facilitated by the Modi government, which he claims are pivotal for the state's growth. He specifically mentioned the manufacturing of Vande Bharat trains at the Kazipet coach factory, the establishment of a Civil Aviation Research Centre in Hyderabad costing 400 crore rupees, and the significant renovation of the Secunderabad Railway Station with a 700 crore rupee investment. Furthermore, he noted progress on major developments such as the Amberpet flyover and the expansion of AIIMS Hospital in Bibinagar.
The BJP leader accused both the current Congress government and the previous BRS administration of prioritizing corruption over public welfare. He claimed that the Kaleshwaram irrigation project had been exploited for financial gain, labeling it an 'ATM' for the former regime. Additionally, he asserted that unemployed youth in the state were misled by unfulfilled promises regarding the release of a job calendar and the recruitment of two lakh positions.

Nitin Nabin urged party workers to engage directly with citizens to promote the development-oriented agenda of the Modi government. He emphasized that strengthening the voter list and enrolling every eligible citizen is essential to defeat the existing political alliances, which he characterized as being influenced by appeasement politics and dynasty rule. Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy echoed these sentiments, calling on cadres to prevent the influence of the AIMIM in local governance. He alleged that security and demographic balance in parts of Hyderabad were being compromised. Simultaneously, BJP state president N.
