HYDERABAD: Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy lashed out at Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday, dismissing his remarks as "empty rhetoric." The minister accused the Congress government of failing repeatedly on its promised agendas, especially in areas benefiting different societal groups.

Kishan Reddy highlighted that Dalits were yet to receive financial support; backward classes did not get expected funding; unemployed youth remained without job plans; women had not been aided as promised; farmers were still waiting for loan waivers; and farm workers had not seen the support they were due. He warned that these groups would protest their grievances outside Revanth Reddy's residence in Hyderabad and even Rahul Gandhi's home in Delhi.

Delivering Governance vs. Political Rhetoric

The minister contended that Revanth Reddy was merely indulging in cheap political attacks, frustrated by his inability to fulfill campaign promises. Kishan Reddy emphasized the need for governance over mudslinging and highlighted projects worth ₹28,000 crore sanctioned by the Centre for Telangana within a single month. He also debunked claims that BJP leaders had switched parties due to personal interests.

"We will continue to work towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Telangana," Kishan Reddy declared, urging people from all political leanings to participate in International Yoga Day celebrations at LB Stadium on June 21.
