The state government of Andhra Pradesh is set to distribute a significant financial package to the agricultural community, with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu scheduled to release a total of Rs 3,125.47 crore under the Annadata Sukhibhava and PM Kisan schemes on June 20. This major initiative, taking place in Linganguntla village of Chilakaluripet Mandal, is expected to provide essential support to over 4.6 million farming households across the region.

The upcoming disbursement will benefit exactly 46,85,838 families, comprising 45,69,817 land-owning farmers and 1,16,021 families holding land rights under the Recognition of Forest Rights (RoFR) Act. This move underscores the administration’s focus on the Annadata Sukhibhava welfare program, which is designed to bolster rural incomes and agricultural stability.

Program Structure and Financial Support for Farmers

The Annadata Sukhibhava scheme stands as a cornerstone of the current government's "Super Six" policy commitments. Through this initiative, eligible farmer families are entitled to an annual financial grant of Rs 20,000. This assistance is a collaborative effort between the state and central governments, with the state providing Rs 14,000 annually, while the central government contributes Rs 6,000 via the PM-Kisan framework.

For this specific cycle, the government has detailed that the first installment will consist of a total credit of Rs 7,000 per eligible family. This amount is derived from a state contribution of Rs 5,000 paired with a Rs 2,000 contribution from the central PM-Kisan fund. Such direct benefit transfers are intended to help cultivators manage input costs and seasonal agricultural expenses more effectively.

Reflecting on the scale of these welfare measures, the government noted that in the preceding year, a total of Rs 8,985.41 crore was distributed to farmers. This previous expenditure included Rs 6,560.18 crore sourced from the state coffers and Rs 2,425.23 crore allocated by the central government.

Event Schedule and Official Visit

The Chief Minister’s visit to Linganguntla is structured to facilitate direct engagement with the local population. Upon his arrival at 12:15 PM, he is slated to inspect an Anganwadi centre before holding a dedicated session to interact with local farmers from 12:50 PM to 1:20 PM. Following meetings with party members, N Chandrababu Naidu will conclude his visit by addressing a public gathering at the Praja Vedika venue before his scheduled departure in the late afternoon.
