The Supreme Court has deferred the urgent hearing regarding Ayodhya Temple donation allegations until after the summer break.
The plea seeks a CBI-led special investigation into alleged financial irregularities at the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Petitioners argue that an independent investigation is required to maintain the trust of devotees and the general public.
The Uttar Pradesh government had previously formed an SIT to look into the matter without registering an FIR.
