Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is pushing for a single-window approval system to streamline coastal tourism investments in Karnataka.
Officials have been directed to submit a report within 20 days on overcoming CRZ and forest department technical hurdles.
Currently, 45 approved tourism projects worth Rs 718.63 crore are set to generate approximately 4,500 new employment opportunities.
Stakeholders, including actor Rishab Shetty, suggested focusing on heli-tourism and local cultural promotion to boost regional appeal.
