Construction has officially commenced on the Dar al Funoon Abu Dhabi venue on Saadiyat Island.
The institution is designed by the late architect Frank Gehry, featuring a unique, fabric-like exterior.
The facility will include multiple venues, such as a 2,000-seat performance hall and a 3,500-seat amphitheatre.
Opening in 2030, the project aims to drive cultural tourism and strengthen Abu Dhabi's creative economy.
