Tesla Expands India Presence with New Experience Centre in Hyderabad Knowledge City

Tesla has officially expanded its footprint in the Indian market by establishing its fifth experience center in the country. Located at Knowledge City in Madhapur, Hyderabad, this new facility is designed to introduce local residents to the company’s comprehensive electric mobility ecosystem. Visitors can explore the brand's technology through interactive product demonstrations and detailed, guided walkarounds.
In addition to the new showroom, the electric vehicle manufacturer has activated delivery and after-sales support operations based in the Bollaram Industrial Area. This expansion is set to provide enhanced ownership services for Tesla customers throughout the state of Telangana.
Advanced Tesla Model Y Offerings
The company has introduced two variants of the Model Y, aiming to cater to different consumer needs in India. The 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive is designed to accommodate up to five passengers and offers a generous storage capacity of 2,138 litres. This model achieves a range of up to 500 km under the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). It is currently priced at ₹50.89 lakh, with official deliveries expected to commence in July.
For larger families, the Model Y L variant features a three-row, six-seat configuration with all-wheel drive. This model provides an impressive range of up to 681 km and expands cargo space to 2,539 litres, carrying a price tag of ₹61.99 lakh. Both vehicles reflect Tesla’s commitment to safety, having earned top-tier ratings from major global safety assessment agencies including the NHTSA, IIHS, Euro NCAP, ANCAP, and C-IASI.
Prospective buyers are invited to place orders directly via the official Tesla website. As an added incentive, customers who complete their bookings before June 30 will receive a complimentary wall connector unit for convenient residential charging. This latest Hyderabad site joins an existing network of experience centers currently operating in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, marking a significant step in the company's broader effort to increase its presence across major Indian cities.
