In Rajanna Sircilla district, Magistrate Radhika Jaiswal of the Sircilla POCSO Court presided over a case involving a father accused of sexually harassing his own minor daughter. Following an exhaustive investigation, the court sentenced the accused to a four-year prison term and imposed a financial penalty of Rs 2,000. Superintendent of Police Gite Mahesh Babasaheb publicly acknowledged the diligent efforts of the local police personnel, whose investigative work was instrumental in achieving this conviction.

In a separate and more severe development, the Mulugu POCSO Court, under Magistrate S.V.P. Surya Chandrakala, delivered a landmark judgment in a case of sexual assault against a minor girl. The accused, identified as 35-year-old K. Sammaiah from Kamalapuram village in Mangapeta mandal, was sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. Beyond the custodial sentence, the court mandated that the perpetrator pay a fine of Rs 20,000 and awarded Rs 10 lakh in compensation to the victim, aiming to provide financial support for her rehabilitation.
