Media reports suggest that Royal Enfield secured its first-round tests covered by media shots, now moving onto full public testing without any cover.
Notably featured among these are a circular headlight, front fork on a large alloy wheel designed with inspiration from World War II-era Flying Flea motorbike, and an overboard slim and classic cruiser-style look. This bike’s range of up to 100-150 kilometers can be augmented even further by high-capacity LiFePO4 battery packs.
The versatile features of the first electric Royal Enfield include advanced Bluetooth connectivity with digital instrument console, turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, music control, and light ignition. Additionally, the mid-mounted electric motor combines well with belt-driven systems ensuring efficient performance comparable to 250cc petrol bikes.
