The current global standard for this unique artistic feat is held by Dinesh Gupta, an artist based in Kalyan, Maharashtra. On December 8, 2025, Dinesh Gupta successfully set the existing record by producing 99 handprints in 60 seconds. Following a formal application and review process, Dr. Sheikh Ameer Jan received official authorization from the Guinness World Records organization to conduct this record-breaking attempt under a specific reference number.
The highly anticipated event took place at the Town Hall Open Auditorium in Nellore. During the one-minute window, the artist worked rapidly to complete a large volume of paint hand impressions.
