During a recent event in Vijayawada, he formally participated in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiated by the Election Commission. The minister utilized this platform to strongly appeal to citizens across the state, encouraging them to verify their details and take part in this vital democratic exercise.
As part of the official procedure, Nara Lokesh provided all necessary documentation and personal information to the Booth Level Officer (BLO) who arrived at his Undavalli residence. By fulfilling these formalities, he aimed to demonstrate the importance of completing the verification process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of voter records. The minister underscored that public cooperation is essential for maintaining updated and reliable electoral lists for upcoming democratic activities.
Guidelines for Electoral Roll Verification
To assist the public during this electoral roll revision, the minister advised residents who might have queries or confusion regarding the SIR process to directly connect with the BLOs stationed in their respective wards. Furthermore, he noted that Booth Level Agents affiliated with the Telugu Desam party are available to offer support and guidance to voters requiring assistance throughout this administrative exercise.
Beyond the voter verification drive, Nara Lokesh has a busy schedule ahead. On Wednesday, he is set to conduct an official tour of the Krishna district. His itinerary includes the inauguration of a newly constructed Zilla Parishad high school facility located in Kokkiligadda village, within the Mopidevi mandal of the Avanigadda constituency. This event is scheduled to take place during the morning hours.
Following the school inauguration, the minister plans to visit the Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Temple situated in Mopidevi. His day will also include a coordination session with local party leaders and workers in the same village to discuss organizational matters. The day is expected to conclude with a community outreach initiative in Puligadda village, where he will hold a meeting with local fishermen near the Gurukula School. This interaction is intended to provide a platform for addressing local concerns and discussing various welfare measures relevant to the community.
The minister's active involvement in these grassroots activities, ranging from administrative duties like the electoral roll revision to direct public engagement, highlights a focus on both electoral transparency and local development efforts across Andhra Pradesh.
