Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the revered Shri Pitambara Peeth in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday to offer prayers and participate in traditional rituals. The site, dedicated to the Goddess Baglamukhi, is widely considered one of the most significant religious centers in the country, attracting numerous devotees and high-profile visitors seeking spiritual guidance.
Arriving at the Datia airbase via a special aircraft from Lucknow around 10:00 AM, Yogi Adityanath immediately proceeded to the historic temple complex. During his visit, which lasted approximately 15 minutes, the Chief Minister performed sacred rites at both the Baglamukhi temple and the Vankhandeshwar Shiva Temple. The latter is home to an ancient Shivling that many believe dates back to the era of the Mahabharat.

The Shri Pitambara Peeth has long been a destination for those seeking divine intervention for various life challenges, including the resolution of complex legal disputes and the pursuit of victory over adversaries. The deity Bagalamukhi is famously associated with bestowing political strength and success upon those who offer their prayers at this esteemed Shakti-Peeth. Following the conclusion of his rituals, the Chief Minister departed for Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, by road.
