Jupally Krishna Rao Launches ₹30 Crore Infrastructure Projects in Bhainsa

Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao recently spearheaded a significant infrastructure drive in Bhainsa, marking a major milestone for local development. During his visit on Sunday, the minister officially laid the foundation stones for various construction projects valued at ₹30 crore, aimed at enhancing the region's overall civic amenities and quality of life.

Housing and Civic Upgrades in Bhainsa

A key highlight of the visit was the inauguration of 440 double-bedroom (2BHK) houses. Beneficiaries were granted official house pattas during the ceremony, fulfilling a critical welfare commitment for the town. These Bhainsa development works are expected to significantly ease housing burdens for many local residents while fostering a more structured urban environment.

In addition to the housing initiative, the minister launched the modernization of the municipal drinking water supply system, a project executed under the AMRUT scheme with an investment of ₹28.18 crore. Furthermore, he directed the restoration of the Mahadevpur tank, allocating ₹2.14 crore for the purpose. Addressing the local populace, Jupally Krishna Rao emphasized that these strategic investments provide a comprehensive and sustainable solution to the persistent drinking water challenges faced by the community. He noted that these efforts are also intended to bolster groundwater levels across the area.

The minister reaffirmed the government's focus on transparency regarding welfare distribution and promised that future phases of the Indiramma houses project would be sanctioned to help further eligible applicants. He also addressed concerns raised by the oustees of the Palsikar Rangarao project, assuring them that the administration is committed to delivering justice.

Administrative Review and Local Oversight

Accompanying the minister were several key officials, including Adilabad MP Godam Nagesh, Collector Bhavesh Mishra, and SP Janaki Sharmila, alongside local representatives such as MLA Ramarao Patel and former legislator Vittal Reddy. During the event, Godam Nagesh expressed optimism, stating that these infrastructure projects would fundamentally transform the landscape of Bhainsa.

Prior to the public ceremonies, Jupally Krishna Rao conducted a series of official inspections. He visited the Gnana Saraswati Temple to offer prayers and reviewed security arrangements following recent reports of theft. He also inspected the Mahankali temple, which was impacted by similar security incidents. The minister concluded his visit by instructing relevant authorities to expedite the tendering processes for all upcoming development works to ensure timely completion. While the official program highlighted progress, some local Congress leaders expressed dissatisfaction regarding the lack of prior communication concerning these specific development activities.
