Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, has firmly rejected recent suggestions of an impending internal split within his organization. During a press engagement held on Wednesday in Lucknow, the former chief minister addressed claims made by Om Prakash Rajbhar, the head of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), regarding the stability of the Samajwadi Party. Akhilesh Yadav emphasized that the party remains a cohesive and formidable entity despite the political noise.
Addressing Allegations of Internal Conflict
The conversation regarding a potential schism was ignited earlier in the day when Om Prakash Rajbhar alleged that a major division was likely within the Samajwadi Party. Rajbhar further claimed that numerous party leaders were prepared to defect to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He specifically mentioned that senior leader Ram Gopal Yadav had allegedly sent a communication to Amit Shah, though he did not provide evidence to support this claim. Rajbhar attributed the supposed unrest to the fear of investigations into past alleged financial irregularities, suggesting this pressure was driving leaders to consider switching alliances.

He remarked that many individuals within the BJP's own ranks in Uttar Pradesh are secretly preparing to change sides, choosing to reveal their true political intentions only at the most opportune moment.
