Vinay Kumar has been appointed as the new Head of Forest Force in Telangana.
He currently serves as the Chief Wildlife Warden and is a 1992-batch IFS officer.
The transition follows the upcoming retirement of Dr. C. Suvarna on June 30.
Dr. Suvarna was the second woman to lead the state's forest department.
