Legendary Tamil filmmaker and actor K. Bhagyaraj has passed away at age 73.
He died on Saturday following a cardiac arrest, leaving the film industry in mourning.
Known for his middle-class family dramas and sharp screenwriting in the 80s and 90s.
He is survived by his wife, actor Poornima Bhagyaraj, and their children, Shanthnu and Saranya.
