Uppinangady police intercepted an Eicher lorry transporting 16 cattle without valid legal documentation.
Two suspects, Pardeen Khan and Javeed Pasha, were officially booked by the authorities following the discovery.
The operation was led by Sub-Inspector Suthesh KP in the Anebailu area of Mangaluru.
Legal action was initiated under the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020.
