A 50-year-old man, Pragnyapuram Thirupathi, died in a fatal road accident in Nalgonda.
The incident occurred on the Narketpally-Adhanki highway when a lorry hit the victim's scooter from behind.
Police suspect that speeding and negligent driving by the lorry driver were the primary causes of the collision.
The body was moved to the Miryalaguda Area Hospital for a post-mortem examination as part of the ongoing investigation.
