Two young brothers, aged 7 and 5, died after being poisoned by their mother in Khammam.
The mother, Swathi, remains in critical condition following her attempt to end her life.
The incident stemmed from severe, ongoing marital disputes between the woman and her husband.
Police have registered a case and are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
