A 50-year-old man, Rekalakunta Pedda Subbarayudu, died in a car accident.
The incident occurred Monday night on the Kadapa–Kurnool National Highway near Pedda Jonnawaram Metta.
The victim was the sole breadwinner for his family and is survived by his wife.
Local police have registered a case and the body was moved to Proddatur for a post-mortem.
