Government recruits 401 new personnel to the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd.
The recruitment process, conducted via TNPSC, included 383 assistant engineers and 18 assistant accounts officers.
Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay personally assisted a pregnant recruit during the appointment ceremony to ensure her safety.
The state plans to fill at least 15,000 government posts within a year to improve service and employment.
