Skyroot Aerospace successfully launched India's first private orbital rocket, Vikram-1.
The rocket reached a 450 km altitude, successfully entering Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Founders Pawan Kumar Chandana and Naga Bharath Daka spent eight years developing the technology.
The startup has achieved unicorn status with a valuation of $1.1 billion.
