Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana in West Bengal to protect farmers from natural calamity-related losses.
The event also included the distribution of the 23rd PM-KISAN installment and the inauguration of significant railway and rural road infrastructure projects.
