Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Pahadpur, Odisha, to attend President Droupadi Murmu's 68th birthday celebrations.
Pahadpur will be developed into a model 'Suryagram' (Solar Village) to provide free electricity and income opportunities.
The Prime Minister unveiled infrastructure and development projects worth Rs 47,000 crore during the visit.
President Murmu and CM Mohan Charan Majhi highlighted ongoing efforts in women's empowerment and regional development.
