MLC Duvvada Srinivas underwent eight hours of police questioning regarding alleged derogatory remarks about Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
The MLC claimed a video clip used as evidence against him was an AI-generated fabrication.
Srinivas has been ordered to appear for further questioning on June 27 following a lack of cooperation.
A separate case was filed against the MLC, Divvela Madhuri, and 16 others after a protest staged outside the Kotturu police station.
