A 42-year-old nurse, Faheemunnisa, died after being hit by a car in Asifnagar.
The vehicle involved was abandoned by its occupants, with liquor bottles found inside.
The car had a previous record of traffic violations from 2025.
Police are currently questioning the vehicle's owners and examining local CCTV footage.
