NHAI launched a fully digital local pass system and MargMitra AI help centre on the RajmargYatra app.
The system uses automated GIS, VAHAN, and DigiLocker integration to verify eligibility for residents within 20 km.
MargMitra supports 22 Indian languages and provides real-time complaint tracking and an appeal filing interface.
The initiative pilot is currently live at the Mundka–Bakkarwala Toll Plaza with a national rollout scheduled soon.
