A new non-verbal stage production called Ninja Show: Naruto is scheduled for 2027 at Kyoto’s Minamiza Theater.
The show will replace dialogue with martial arts, acrobatics, projection mapping, and traditional Kabuki stage techniques.
Lead actors Yuri Takahashi and Ryuma Aoi will alternate as Naruto Uzumaki, alongside a supporting cast of franchise favorites.
The production is directed by Go Ueki, who previously helmed Attack on Titan: The Musical.
