A 32-year-old man, Pankaj Dhama, was beaten to death at Delhi's Shahdara railway station.
The incident occurred during a rush to board the Yoga Express on platform number 3.
Police have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Authorities are currently analyzing CCTV footage to identify the suspects involved in the assault.
