The Maharashtra government established three committees to implement the Rs 36,585 crore PAHSKY 2026 farm loan waiver scheme.
The scheme benefits 55.72 lakh farmers, offering waivers up to Rs 2 lakh with no landholding eligibility criteria.
A Cabinet Sub-Committee led by CM Devendra Fadnavis will oversee transparent implementation and review.
Two additional panels will handle negotiations with banking institutions and refine operational guidelines for the loan waiver process.
