Aadhaar card verification is now mandatory for booking Tatkal tickets via IRCTC.
A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the mobile number linked to the user's Aadhaar.
Tickets will only be issued upon successful verification of the OTP.
Passengers are advised to keep their mobile numbers updated with their Aadhaar records for seamless booking.
