Two suspects, including the driver Srinivas, have been arrested for the theft.
The incident involved the theft of Rs 17 lakh from an unattended cash van.
The heist took place near a kiosk in the Rain Bazaar–Santosh Nagar area.
Special police teams are actively searching for a third absconding suspect.
