Himesh Patel confirmed that the pilot episode for the new X-Files series has officially finished filming.
The reboot will feature entirely new characters, with Patel and Danielle Deadwyler starring as FBI agents.
Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the pilot, with original creator Chris Carter serving as an executive producer.
The project is currently awaiting a full series order from Hulu to proceed with further production.
