The ED conducted coordinated raids at approximately six locations across Karnataka on Wednesday.
The searches targeted properties linked to Y. Manjunath, an Additional Commissioner in the Excise Department.
Y. Manjunath is the brother-in-law of Karnataka minister Satish Jarkiholi.
Minister Satish Jarkiholi described the action as a possible routine exercise and declined immediate further comment.
