An electric RTC bus caught fire near Alugunuru while traveling from Karimnagar to Secunderabad.
All 40 passengers on board were safely evacuated by the driver and conductor without any injuries.
The vehicle, operated by the Karimnagar-2 depot, was completely gutted in the fire.
Authorities have initiated a formal investigation to determine the exact cause of the technical failure.
