The fleet includes 136 eco-friendly, BS-VI compliant CNG buses and 164 diesel-powered buses.
The expansion aims to improve connectivity from major terminals like Kilambakkam and Koyambedu.
Government plans include integrating smart card fare collection and real-time GPS vehicle tracking systems.
