CBI apprehended two fugitives after a 20-year manhunt for a ₹1.25 crore SBI fraud.
The accused, Brijbhushan Prasad and Kartar Singh, had been absconding since 2005.
Both suspects were captured in simultaneous raids in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh on June 21, 2026.
The fugitives had been living under assumed identities and were subjects of an Interpol Red Notice.
