75-year-old Nabisab Pinjar successfully recovered from hip surgery at BLDE Hospital.
The medical procedure was fully covered under the Ayushman Bharat-Arogya Karnataka (ABARK) scheme.
The patient returned to the hospital with sacks of rice and wheat as a gesture of gratitude.
The donation will support the hospital's food distribution program for patients in the general ward.
