Kakinada: Former Anaparthi MLA Sathi Suryanarayana Reddy reminded YSRC cadres to remain vigilant during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, emphasizing their role in preventing any irregularities by opposing parties. This directive came through a training session held at Balabhadrapuram village in Biccavolu mandal of East Godavari district on Tuesday. The primary goal is to ensure transparency and democratic integrity within voter lists.
Vigilance Key for Voter List Revisions
During the training, YSRC cadres were instructed to scrutinize each booth's list meticulously and address any discrepancies or irregularities by submitting written objections as per rules. This step is crucial in maintaining a fair electoral process.
YSRC East Godavari district president Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna stressed on inclusivity, ensuring every eligible voter is registered while identifying and removing ineligible or duplicate entries strictly as per regulations. He highlighted the significance of booth-level representatives in this revision process.
Party's state Youth Wing president Jakkampudi Raja echoed similar sentiments, stressing coordinated efforts to ensure transparency during voter list preparation by closely monitoring the SIR process.
