At approximately 4:30 am, the intruder confronted the resident, physically pushing him onto a bed and issuing threats to secure compliance. During the encounter, the perpetrator successfully absconded with two gold rings weighing roughly 16 grams, valued at approximately ₹2.4 lakh, along with a Samsung mobile device.

Swift Police Action and Investigation Results

Following the formal complaint filed by the victim, local police initiated a comprehensive investigation. The case was managed under the direct oversight of Tenali Rural Circle Inspector S.K. Nayab Rasool. A specialized team, spearheaded by Sub-Inspector N.C. Prasad, conducted a thorough analysis of both digital evidence and local CCTV footage to track the perpetrator's movements.

These investigative efforts led the team to identify the primary suspect as Pagadam Umashankar Reddy, a resident of Rambhotlavaripalem village located in the Bapatla district. Following the arrest, the suspect was presented before the court and subsequently remanded to judicial custody to await further legal proceedings.
