Comprehensive Entrance Guidelines
The exam consists of two shifts: the morning shift from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a reporting time between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM, while the afternoon shift runs from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Students are advised to arrive well before their designated entry times; failing to do so will result in being denied access post-9:30 AM.
Other important guidelines include:
- A minimum of two hours must be set aside for the exam, arriving at least an hour early.
- The entry gates close 30 minutes before the start of each shift; latecomers will not be allowed inside.
- Carry a printed admit card and valid photo ID to avoid any hitches.
- No electronic devices are permitted, barring emergency communication tools.
Candidates must sit in their designated seats as marked on the admit card. Any form of misconduct, including talking or non-verbal gestures during the exam, will result in disciplinary action.
The exam pattern involves 150 questions to be answered in two hours; each correct answer is worth two marks, while incorrect answers incur a deduction of half a mark each.
Remember to carry two passport-sized recent photographs and only black or blue ballpoint pens for this exam. Gel pens are not allowed as they may smudge the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets.
