The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) has released the complete academic calendar for the 2026-27 session. The new academic year will commence on April 1st, 2026, with various significant events scheduled throughout the year. The calendar outlines important examination dates, including first and second term exams, half-yearly examinations, and pre-board exams.
According to the released calendar, first unit tests for classes 9 through 12 will take place in the second week of July 2026 while the Second Unit Test (Descriptive based) is scheduled from the last week of August 2026. Half-yearly practical examinations are planned for the fourth week of September, followed by half-yearly written exams covering 60% of the syllabus during the second and third weeks of October.
UP Board Exam Schedule 2026-27
The UP Board has announced a comprehensive schedule for upcoming events. The syllabus completion deadline for classes 10 and 12 is set for January 10th, 2027. Classes 9 and 11 must complete their syllabus by January 25th, 2027. Pre-board practical examinations will commence from January 11th, followed by pre-board written exams (classes 10 & 12) starting from January 18th.
The annual examinations for classes 9 and 11 will be held from February 1st to 10th, 2027. The board practical examinations are scheduled from , January 27th to February 10th, 2027.
