The suit alleges that the edited version suggests she knowingly permitted a contestant to endure sexual assault and subsequently exploited that trauma to boost ratings. The legal filing specifically references an incident involving a contestant, Ms. Sullivan, who experienced a distressing event while filming in Milan. The lawsuit claims that the documentary portrays the event as an assault—information the producers allegedly withheld from Tyra Banks during her interview session. By asking her about the story without proper context, the filmmakers reportedly created a damaging implication that she lacked awareness or concern regarding the situation.
