Tragedy struck in the early hours of Sunday morning when a severe road accident claimed the lives of two individuals in Hanamkonda district. The incident, which involved a vehicle veering off the road and colliding with a drainage wall, occurred near Uppal village within the Kamalapur mandal.

Authorities reported that the car was traveling from Hyderabad toward Karimnagar when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. Upon losing control, the car plunged into a roadside drainage canal and struck a concrete wall with significant force. At the time of this fatal road accident, four individuals were inside the vehicle, all of whom sustained varying degrees of impact.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after being alerted to the crash. One occupant of the vehicle was confirmed deceased at the site of the impact. The three surviving passengers, who suffered serious injuries, were immediately stabilized and transported to MGM Hospital in Warangal using a 108 emergency ambulance service for urgent medical intervention.

Despite the medical efforts provided by the staff at MGM Hospital, a second victim unfortunately succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment. The victims were identified by local authorities as Kallem Srinivas and Turpati Bhargav, both of whom were residents of Lakshmipur in Karimnagar district.

In the wake of this devastating road accident, the Kamalapur police have officially registered a case to determine the exact circumstances that led to the vehicle losing control.
