Originally from Chenchuvanipalem in the Kavali mandal of Nellore district, Darsi Subhash had been involved in a live-in relationship for four years with a woman from Arundalpet, Guntur. The couple shared both their personal life and professional work, often traveling together for dance events. However, the relationship grew strained due to persistent doubts Darsi Subhash held regarding his girlfriend's fidelity.
On the Saturday preceding the event, the pair returned home late at night following a work commitment. Shortly after, Darsi Subhash informed his partner of his intention to travel to his native village. Following these interactions, he consumed alcohol and tragically hanged himself from the ceiling fan.
