The trend features a diverse mix of cinema, ranging from iconic blockbusters starring major heroes to popular romantic entertainers. For instance, the action classic Okkadu, starring superstar Mahesh Babu, has returned to theatres yet again. Despite having been screened multiple times over the years, the film continues to command a loyal fanbase, proving that its enduring appeal remains a reliable draw for audiences.
Reviving Theatrical Footfalls Through Nostalgia
Complementing this trend is the return of Raj Tarun’s romantic hit, Cinema Choopistha Mava. In some instances, these films have grossed between 8 crore and 10 crore rupees, even with limited screenings.
