The historic temple town of Tirumala saw a surge in pilgrims, rituals, and revenue during the month of May, marking an unprecedented high for the region. According to Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanams (TTD), which governs the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, 12,135,528 laddus were sold, a number only seconded by the highest footfall of 25.46 lakh devotees in one month's time.
Temple officials reported an impressive 27.40% increase in daily darshans. These were successfully managed with the help of an AI-Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC), a technological marvel that ensured uninterrupted divine experiences for all visitors while maintaining stringent safety measures.
