The collision took place near the Kamepalli railway underpass. According to official reports, a lorry loaded with granite was navigating a sharp curve when it collided with the auto. The impact was severe, leading to the immediate deaths of 60-year-old Edukondalu and 50-year-old Ramanamma at the crash site.

Emergency response teams arrived at the scene to assist the victims. In addition to the two fatalities at the site, seven other passengers sustained various injuries and were immediately transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Sadly, among those receiving medical care, 70-year-old Subbayamma later succumbed to her injuries. Local law enforcement officers have registered a formal case regarding the road accident and are actively conducting an investigation into the matter to establish liability and sequence of events.
