The Telangana Haj Committee has officially released the comprehensive schedule and essential guidelines for the upcoming Haj-2027 pilgrimage. Haj-2027 Application Timeline and Requirements

According to the official communication from the Telangana Haj Committee, the online application window for Haj-2027 opened on June 22, 2026. Prospective pilgrims who are planning to undertake this journey are advised to note that the final deadline for submitting their completed applications is July 20, 2026. It is imperative that all applicants ensure they hold a passport that remains valid at least until December 31, 2027, to avoid any administrative complications during the selection process.

The guidelines clarify that a single Haj cover may accommodate a maximum of five adult pilgrims. This group arrangement is designed to facilitate easier travel coordination for families and close associates who wish to perform the pilgrimage together. The committee has established distinct categories to streamline the selection process and provide support to specific groups of travelers.

Priority Categories for Haj Selection

A significant aspect of the Haj-2027 policy includes special provisions for senior citizens and women traveling without a male guardian. Specifically, individuals over the age of 65 are eligible to apply alongside one companion who is under the age of 65. These applicants will be selected directly, without the need to participate in the draw of lots, commonly referred to as the Qurrah.

Furthermore, the committee has confirmed that women who are 45 years of age or older and intend to apply without a Mehram are also eligible for the pilgrimage. Like the senior citizen category, these applicants will be processed under a separate category and are also exempt from the Qurrah draw, provided they meet the specific regulatory conditions set forth by the authorities.
